Cover of the graphic comic Glamour

Glamour, at its core, delves into the profound impact of societal beauty standards on women's mental well-being.

Women are not taught to love themselves. In this comic, I explore this theme through the journey of a young witch who embarks on the challenging path of self-love. She turns to magic for assistance, but soon discovers that loving oneself is not something that can be attained instantaneously.

Glamour was my first graphic novel. This was a second-year project while studying multimedia art at the University of South Africa.
